Thanks so much to all of the people who submitted photos to the 7 Mile Memories Photography contest. We saw some of the funniest, cutest and beautiful portraits! We are so excited to announce the winners of the contest we recently ran for our Avalon and Stone Harbor Facebook fans! The 2 top entries were neck and neck throughout the contest, with our 2nd place winner pulling ahead and winning by just a few votes. It was a ton of fun and we are so grateful to all of our awesome merchants on the Island who donated some incredible prizes! We have listed the winners below in order and the prize packages. Looking for something fun to do this weekend while visiting Stone Harbor and Avalon, NJ?

Sunday, March 11, 2012 is the first annual Bill Burns Memorial Walk. Bill was the owner of Brady’s Deli in Stone Harbor, NJ and passed away in 2009.

Put on your walking shoes and join us in remembering Bill Burns, and his dedication to the Stone Harbor Elementary School and Community. It’s a 1 mile walk starting and ending at the Stone Harbor School located at 275 93rd Street, Stone Harbor, NJ 08247. This will be a fun family event!

$20 pre-registration / $25 day of walk. Light refreshments after the walk.

The 7 Mile Business and Community Association invites you to spend a weekend in Avalon shopping, and having a great time! Wings and Water Opening Night Reception – Stone Harbor, NJ

Had a fabulous time Friday evening at the Wetlands Institute Wings and Water Festival Opening Night. Over 300 people attended the event with lots of incredible food and great company! The Award Winning Wings ‘n Water Festival is one of the premier Wildlife Arts Festivals in the United States, featuring family fun and adventure.
