It’s great when our senior clients ask us to photograph a family shoot of the whole extended family! We do a lot of family reunion / extended family photo shoots at the beach. It just seems like the place where the families come together to create memories. We photographed Ashton’s senior pictures in Stone Harbor where her parents have a home and I knew after meeting her and her mom, it was going to be a fun crowd. They were the kindest family to work with… what a pleassure! Also…as you can see in the pictures we have some Phillies fans!

Sunday, March 11, 2012 is the first annual Bill Burns Memorial Walk.  Bill was the owner of Brady’s Deli in Stone Harbor, NJ and passed away in 2009.

Put on your walking shoes and join us in remembering Bill Burns, and his dedication to the Stone Harbor Elementary School and Community.  It’s a 1 mile walk starting and ending at the Stone Harbor School located at 275 93rd Street, Stone Harbor, NJ 08247.  This will be a fun family event!

$20 pre-registration  / $25 day of walk.   Light refreshments after the walk.

Talking about being involved! Erinn is a smart, caring and outgoing senior at Unionville High School who has a love for basketball, but also plays softball, volleyball and field hockey! She is always on the move, also being the editor of her high school yearbook and is one of six students on the National Honors Society Executive board. Erinn also has a love for the beach. She spends her summers in Ocean City, New Jersey. Everyday she rides her beach cruiser, surf’s, skimboard’s and boogieboard’s. Erinn also adores her little sister whom she spends a lot of time with. Our goal was to capture Erinn’s lifesyle in her senior portraits, and what a fun photo session! Good Luck at Duke next year Erinn!!!

On the drive over to shoot Meg and Brian’s beach engagement session I was wondering if the weather was going to cooperate.  Dark and stormy almost all the way up the parkway, it had been raining most of the night, but was supposed to be a beautiful day at the shore.  As I pulled into Ocean City NJ, the skies cleared a little, leaving just enough cloud to add some dramatic effect.  Meeting at their home on the beach, The location was perfect. With the weather being so rainy earlier, the beach was empty, leaving us plenty of room to work. With the sun trying to peek through the clouds, Meg and Brian took me throught how the engagement had happened.  They even had put the chairs and umbrellas back out exactly how they were when he proposed.  The morning could not have been more perfect…lots of clouds and color…This combined with Meg and Brians fun & energetic personalities was the perfect ending to an awesome beach engagement session.

Love this girl and her family! Such a fun and sweet bunch! Ashton has such a great outlook on life. She is totally going places with her upbeat personality. She has many great memories of Stone Harbor and wanted it to be a part of her senior pictures. Congrats on getting into Villanova next year Ashton!

Laura has many fond memories of coming to Ocean City, NJ as a child, so what better of a place to create her senior pictures!  It was a beautiful night as her and her boyfriend Pat posed for the camera.  Mom  and dad were an intergral part of the shoot making us all laugh during the whole photo shoot!  Thanks Laura, Pat Susan and Gary!!!
